The Secondary and Higher Secondary Section of Umrigar School (E.M) celebrated Navratri with great vigour and joy on October 5′ 2019 on the school Skating Rink.
Our Managing Trustee Shri Navinbhai Umrigar and the Principal of Unnati English Academy Mrs. Anita Kotwani graced the occasion. The entire skating rink looked like a Mini-Gujarat, with students and Teachers attired in traditional dresses adding to the festive mood.
The celebration started by seeking blessings from Goddess Durga by performing Aarti and playing the beats of Garba songs dedicated to her. The students and teachers performed Garba on the popular Garba songs played by our school DJ Apoorva of Class XII-B.
The students were judged on different categories like- Best Graba performer, Best dressed up participant etc. by our esteemed judges for the day Ms. Akshita and Ms. Ritu. The Garba celebration was indeed a great event.
